Support: KS Consulting provides support and training to guide districts toward the goal of providing more inclusive opportunities for students with disabilities.

Provides need-based support, training, and mentoring to district administrators, staff, and students in order to improve inclusive opportunities for students with more significant disabilities.
Creates more inclusive opportunities for students will disabilities and meet the legal mandates for LRE (Least Restrictive Environment) indicated in IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)
Assists districts with the reduction of the amount of time and resources spent on Special Education compliance, mediation, and conflict resolution
Improves learning opportunities and outcomes for students with disabilities by improving access to general education curriculum and facilitating active participation in the general education classroom.
Improves the culture of the school community by ensuring that all students are active and engaged learners.

Since 2015, I have provided support, expertise, and training to local school districts in the Bay Area as Inclusion Consultant.
In addition, since 2016, I have worked as a Fieldwork Supervisor with University of San Francisco providing support and guidance to USF teacher interns within Marin and San Francisco enrolled in an accelerated Credential/Master’s program.
I have experience as a school administrator in the public school system. I have worked as a Special Education Program Manager with the Marin SELPA and as Early Intervention Program Director where I led the development of an Inclusive Early Intervention Preschool program.
I have over 15 years teaching in public schools. Initially, as an Inclusion Support Teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District and as an SDC teacher/Learning Specialist in Marin County.
